This book gets off to a great start, and there is constant suspense by the author to keep you interested. There are lots of times that I felt like trying to tell the main character that what he was doing was very stupid, so in that sense you do get involved in the book a lot. The main character is Dan, who is very gullible. The whole story is about his relationship with a girl who cons him into helping her with her crazy ideas. She is called Jess, is about his age and is constantly blackmailing him into helping her steal things and cause trouble.
