The
first of the Edge Chronicles trilogy is probably the best. Twig has been bought up in a
family of woodtrolls, but he quickly learns that he is not a woodtroll
and must travel into the deepwoods and beyond to discover where his
fate lies and what kind of creature he is. Along the way he meets a lot
of strange animals, makes friends and battles enemies. Go to Fantasy

Join
Twig as he sails with his father on the Stormchaser, the sky ship of
dreams. But then Twig learns about the floating rock, upon which the great city
of Sanctaphrax is built and the danger it is in. Every day it gets
lighter and the only thing holding it is the anchor chain. Twig soon
discovers that there is one substance which can save the city...

The
third and final in the The Edge Chronicles is also brilliant. Twig is
now a sky caption of his own sky ship, and is sailing over the edge in
search for his father. He discovers a great storm that will soon hit the
Edge world. He is the only person to know of this and must act fast.
However, the trip destroys his sky ship... See the Fantasy
